When does the event take place?
The open day is on Sunday 23rd July 2017, and the public are welcome to join us from 10am until 4pm.

How do I get to the Ulster Flying Club?
Click Here for detailed directions. The entrance for the Open day is via the Portaferry Road ONLY. You can enter by a vehicle or on foot. There is NO ACCESS to the open day from the Comber Road. If you intend on using bus services, Buses 9 & 10 (Belfast - Portaferry - Belfast) route past the front door and bus stops are located 350m away from our entrance (Floodgates / Shore Road)

Is parking available?
Parking is available on the grass area of the airfield entering via the Portaferry Road. You can enter and leave as many times as you wish.

Are Dogs allowed?
Dogs are allowed at the event if you are going to clean up their mess, and they MUST remain on a lead at all times. Dogs will not be allowed inside the building and there will be water dishes available.

What if the weather is bad?
If the weather is poor on Sunday 23rd July, the event will be rescheduled for August 2017. This will be published on our website and facebook.

Do I need to book in advance for trial flights?
Light Aircraft Flights
We will have a limited number of trial flights during the event. If you wish to get booked in ahead of time, please call the office and book in. If you do not check in with us 30 minutes before the flight is due to go, we will offer this flight to someone else who wishes to use it during the event.
